This is most effective in the hands of those who are the focal point of enemy damage in teamfights, allowing the user's spellcasting to thrive from their enemies' efforts. It is akin to a lesser Flame Guard with the added benefit of gaining mana proportional to the damage points that you take with this shield on. The best thing about this item is its active ability. With a steady supply of spell damage, a Hero can have a great source of burst healing or heal-per-second proportional to the damage that they dish out.Īs for its defensive abilities, this item provides a good amount of magic resistance, great for augmenting a Hero's innate durability or magic resistance or to simply solve a deficit in magic resistance, such as Ghost Scepter and Necrophos' Ghost Shroud. The spell lifesteal works best on spells with high damage potential that can be applied constantly and quickly, such as toggled or long duration DPS spells (like Rot and Diabolic Edict) and low cooldown nukes. The added HP regen and spell lifesteal provides a passive and active source of self-healing, respectively. This item is best used for tanky Heroes who wish to solve their mana problems/augment their mana reserves, increase their regenerative capabilities and bolster their self-healing power through constant application of spell damage, and for some who rely on taking damage from enemies to activate a beneficial effect. Does not share cooldown with Pipe of Insight or Hood of Defiance. However, if a damage instance is greater than the capacity of all barriers individually, the damage gets blocked as if the barriers were one barrier with combined capacity. If multiple sources of barriers are active on a unit, all of them lose capacity from the same absorbed damage instance.Does not stack with other magical damage barriers.Recasting Shroud refreshes the buff and resets the barrier's absorb capacity.Fully affected by mana restore manipulation. The amount of mana restored equals the exact amount of damage blocked.Does not block any physical or pure damage. Only blocks magical damage, coming from abilities and attacks.Blocks damage before any reductions, except Mana Shield.

So, maybe adding the Death Shroud (1109, or even maybe a couple other color possibilities too like grey and light grey) as a possible chance in the Bone LBODs would make them worth doing. Even the smalls used to fill those larges are junk since they aren't even worth flipping. They are mostly junk LBODs, or were a few months ago anyway last time I looked at bods. Other than the Mask Dye LBODs the rewards for the bone armor LBODs are pretty bad considering the effort & materials used to complete one (especially the exceptional ones). Anyone know if it is something that's possible and easy to implement so it just affects the Bone LBODs?Īnyway, looking at the LBODs that involve bone armor, here's what we got as potential rewards so far according to the tailoring LBOD reward page:ġ0 & 15 Normal (50% Leather Dye Tub, 50% CBD)ġ0 & 15 Exceptional (50% Leather Dye Tub, 50% CBD)ġ0 & 15 Exceptional (Hanging Studded Armor) I'm not sure that's even possible though considering the Bone LBODs share the same rewards (being 5 piece "leather") as the Studded Leather LBODs.

Since the tailoring bone LBODs are rarely done, maybe the death shroud could be a possible reward from them.
